This collection of poems is the first (hopefully of many) to be published by the StoryPhoenix project. This collection is made up of storypoems and poemstories, and it is an exploration of my fascination with the power of stories and storytelling and an acknowledgement that the best stories often come out of those “sins” of which society often doesn’t approve.
I write about sex, laughter, violence, my bisexuality and queerness, art, music, the dichotomy of my love for and fear of power, through stories of dragons, society, pirates, giants, rats and many other fictional abstractions. And I’m certain that I’m entirely too enamored of allegory. Tolkien would not be pleased.
